Internship programs are a form of work-based learning that enhances the students’ educational process. A survey of 250 accountancy students of Nanyang Technological University (NTU) who had gone through the Professional Attachment was conducted to find out their perceptions of the important career-related skills and the skills that are learnt during the internship. This study identified a number of learning outcomes resulting from the PA and related these to a model of the experiential learning process.
