The impact of appraisal system upon salespersons' performance in P.R. China.

This research hypothesized that salespersons’ job satisfaction, role perception and motivation are positively related to the “appropriateness” of the performance appraisal system and sales performance respectively. For the whole sample, statistical results show that there is indeed a positive relationship between salespersons’ job satisfaction, role perception and motivation and the “appropriateness” of performance appraisal system.
