dc.description.abstractThis Final Year Project report serves to document as detailed as possible, the design and fabrication of the battery electric vehicle, Nanyang Venture Ten’s suspension system. The author was tasked to design and fabricate the suspension system of the vehicle, which has already participated in the Shell Eco-Marathon Asia 2018. The suspension system consist of the front and rear suspension system which comprises of multiple components. The report will go through the thought and design process of the components, as well as discussing the results of the finite element analysis of the key components. Furthermore, the manufacturing and assembly processes of the suspension system was heavily documented in this report. The report will end off with the documentation of the problems and challenges encountered over the course of the author’s final year project, as well as discussing the solutions to the problems encountered.en_US
