This report details the research and development of the robotic snooker system. The system will be executed by the ABB robotic arm. The purpose of this report is to document and illustrate the development of performing the jump shot and pocketing the shot using the robotic snooker system. This report will also include review on pre-existing robotic snooker system by other university and organisation. This report will include experiments and data analysis that supports the establishment of the robotic snooker system. This report details and illustrate the physic on snooker and the analysis of the physic concepts. Lastly, the report will conclude the development of the robotic snooker system and future development and improved idea and improvement to the system will be discussed.
