This project conveys the metaphysical origin of my identity. Coming from a Singaporean and Javanese background, I struggle with finding my own identity in both countries. This project explores the Meta relationship between serpents and females on a universal, micro and personal level. Exploring legends of the Javanese snake women, I create paintings, which conveys an autobiographical narrative about my dual culture.en_US
