Memory is a complex subject in Daniel Keyes's Flowers for Algernon, which unfortunately has limited scholarly coverage. As such, this paper primarily looks at the neglected topic of memory in Keyes's work. The aim is to show how memory and identity have a symbiotic relationship which in turn affects the identity of the protagonist involved.
