This project develops a polyurethane blend with enhanced resistance to hydrolytic stress cracking. Blending processes were developed to produce a polymer blend of thermoplastic polyurethane-poly(vinylidene fluoride), (TPU-PVDF). Both solution and melt blending processes were investigated and the effects of blending these two polymers were studied.
