dc.description.abstractAdditive Manufacturing (AM) is currently used in various industrial. Also, AM is expected to gain more recognition in dominating the worldwide sales of products and services. The benefits of AM able to provide the user freedom in designing and the reduce production cost thus it has replaced many conventional manufacturing technique. Nowadays, more people have gained interest in building their own Do It Yourself (DIY) 3D printer from scratch. Through the process of building the DIY 3D printer, the user gets to experience and understand the working principle of it. This report provides an overview of AM and process of building SLS printer. An experiment was conducted to investigate the influence of the laser scan speed on the mechanical properties of the printed parts.en_US
