Abstract
Antenna arrays are major contributors to wireless communication technologies in today’s modern world. There are several factors that contribute to signal transmission effectiveness and they are the antenna array geometry as well as the orientation of the antenna arrays. Thus, in this project, we investigated how the signal transmission between the transmitting and receiving ends through near field measurements, are affected by the variations in the orientation as well as the geometries of the phased array antennas. It is found that the signal strength is strongest at the reference angle of 0° and 360° due to matching polarization, as well for 90° due to the antenna factor.
