dc.description.abstractLabVIEW is a platform by National Instruments which uses visual programming language and built-in modules for data acquisition and processing. It is commonly used for industrial automation and education. As it is easy to understand and develop sophisticated systems. EE2073 Introduction to EEE Design Project, which is a year 2 module, which inspire students to be active in laboratory-based and practice oriented course. This module allows students to equip with LabVIEW knowledge and applications together with the use of ELVIS II. This course project is to build a digital control system for the Automatic Volume Control of Audio Amplifier System by using LabVIEW programming and ELVIS II. This project encourages students to design, develop and integrate both software and hardware subsystem modules to form a complete system. An instructor manual will use to assist the teaching faculty to answer the common doubt and problems faced by students and help them to have a rough gauge of what kind of graph and answer will be expected. An improvise student’s manual will be done to create an easy understand lab guide for students. As some students might not equip with the basic knowledge on LabVIEW. Synchronously, a Smart Window and Blind System are invented to help household users in the case of rain and sun glare. This project inquires Arduino with LabVIEW interface. This system contains two parts which is the automated rainfall sensing system and blind system. I will be focusing on the Automated Rainfall Sensing System. This system will include a humidity and temperature sensor, rainfall sensor and a motor to control the opening and closing of the window and my groupmate will be doing the blind system. NI myRIO will be used to collect data reading of both temperature and humidity of the surrounding. Arduino program will be used to control the overall system. LabVIEW program will be used to monitor and analyze the temperature and humidity level in the surrounding and control the overall automated rainfall sensing systemen_US
