Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV) is growing in popularity due to their affordability and simplicity in construction. This report documents the idea of implementing scalable on UAVs, achieving on-the-fly switching from a Quadcopter to a Hexacopter to an Octocopter without the need of a computer. The methods, design and software concepts are explained in detail.
