dc.description.abstractA Stirling engine is a heat engine that operates by cyclical heating and cooling of the working fluid which causes the fluid to expand and contract. Similar to other heat engine, heat energy is converted into mechanical or kinetic energy. The varying fluid volume due to the heat transfer creates a force which acts on a piston to create a reciprocating motion. This project details the design and manufacturing aspects of such an engine that is powered by solar and harnessing the kinetic energy through magnetic induction.en_US
