This report details the design and development of this Final Year Project called Prism, a solo project where I actively worked on the entire game, with consultations from my supervisor. Prism is a simple and interactive 2-Dimensional (2D) casual game which explores what are the elements that make a game addictive. Casual games have been on a rise in the game industry due to the availability of technology via mobile phones. And many people of different ages have been playing them. The question is: what makes these games so addictive and what draws people to them?
