      Abstract
Piezoelectric sensors and actuators are widely used in vibration control due to their lightweight and potential to be miniaturized. Studies have been done extensively on using conventional piezoelectric actuators as elements of active control of vibration. Little attention, however, has been paid to the possible application of the bimorph actuator, which is a special piezoelectric bender, towards active vibration control.
