      Abstract
This paper introduces the single-mode fiber transmitter manufacturing process. It gives a brief description of Active Laser Alignment. Laser Subassembly Align and Weld is the key process of the transmitter production. Methods to optimize the Laser Subassembly alignment and to reduce the alignment time are the focus of the paper.
