Evaluation checklist for Chinese language CD-ROM products

Currently, parents and students are exposed to a variety of different educational and informational CD-ROM products of various subjects. It is difficult for parents to choose a suitable CD-ROM product for their children. Although the number of educational CD-ROM products is increasing, there is little information on how to select an appropriate and useful educational CD-ROM product. The main objective of this study is to develop a checklist for parents to use so that they can select a more suitable Chinese Language CD-ROM product for their children. A checklist based on well-defined criteria would be a useful instrument for parents. By using the checklists, they could save time and effort in the selection process.
