dc.description.abstractThe aim of the thesis is to highlight the advantages of an integrated feedback adaptive active noise control (IFBANC) system for the audio and communication applications. The Filtered-X Least Mean Square (FxLMS) algorithm is chosen for adaptive filtering and the design and implementation of the system is documented. Performance of the system is evaluated and the effect of nonlinearity characteristics that may be inherent in the system is investigated.en_US
