Over the last few years, wireless local area networks (WLAN) have been explosively sprouting up. In the mean time, ever since many researchers discovered a number of vulnerabilities with WLAN, the WLAN security has been the widely debated topic all the while. WEP. Wired Equivalent Privacy protocol, which is defined by the IEEE 820.11 standard and supposed to ensure secure data transmissions over WLAN.
