Since the end of the Cold War, the international community has demonstrated a greater proclivity for bestowing legitimacy on humanitarian intervention. There is a clear trend towards a greater willingness by states to questions the sanctity of state sovereign and, by the same token, the absolutist position on the principle of non-intervention.
