      Abstract
There is a growing trend of using membrane technology to recycle and reuse wastewater. Reverse Osmosis (RO) or related membrane separation processes such as microfiltration (MF) and nanofiltration (NF) are playing essential roles in modern water treatment practice. In recent years, new technology such as the membrane bioreactors is receiving more attention.
