As postulated by Hofstede, cultures differ in their extent of collectivism and individualism. Building on this concept, this paper seeks to investigate the impact of mass media on the portrayal of a leader, Sim Wong Hoo in Singapore and US. The research is supported by the research method of content analysis and further statistical studies.
