This research attempts to study the effectiveness and impact of the quality award, the Singapore Gold Circle, in enhancing the quality standards of local travel agencies from the customer's perspective. A customer survey was administered on 198 respondents who had visited a local travel agency to obtain their views on the performance of the agencies and also their expectations.
