In three weeks, with the help of cameras, lenses and a guide, the author attempted to document the fast-changing lifestyle of the Hmong, reminiscing on what has disappeared and capturing what is threatening to disappear. The final product, a coffee-table book, strives to tell of an endangered ancient culture and a poverty-stricken mountain tribe that needs our help.
